Personal data means information which can directly or indirectly be linked to a living natural person. Examples of personal data include name, address, phone number, and email address. Under certain circumstances, information about IP addresses and your user behavior when using the Services may also constitute personal data.
Processing of personal data covers all use of personal data, such as collection, exchange and storage.
Controller of personal data means the party which, alone or together with another party, decides on the purposes and means for the processing of the personal data and who is ultimately responsible for ensuring that the processing takes place in accordance with applicable personal data legislation.
What information we collect
We collect personal data related to your registration of an account and your subsequent use of the the services. To give you an overview of how the processing of data is carried out, we have divided the personal data into two categories based on how it is collected.
Data that you give us
Vi use BankID to verify your identity, gender and age, and receive your personal identification number through BankID. The personal identification number is stored by GoodOnes to ensure a safe and secure service.
When you create an account with Facebook, we collect data from your Facebook profile. The following data will be collected from Facebook and stored in your user profile at GoodOnes: facebook id, name, first name, last name, gender, birthdate, facebook picture and your last 100 likes.
Data collected when you use the services
When you use the services with your account, we collect information about your use. This information includes how you behave on the app and how you use the services. The information can be divided into the following categories:
Technical information about your device and internet connection
We use server logs and other tools to register information about your device, connection to our services and cross-device usage. This information may include e.g. operating system, web browser version, IP addresses, cookies, screen size, device id, device model, language code and various unique identifiers.
Information about the use of your account and the services; user behavior
We may register when you log in or out of your account and any purchases of services through your account and store information about your visits and your behavior when you use the services. This behavior may include how you click, scroll and navigate in the app.
When you have accepted location services on your phone or device, the app will regularly collect detailed information about your geographic location. Your GPS-location will be used to provide you with information about other users in your area. When your location is displayed to other users, it is based on the location provided by you when registering your account. If you have not activated sharing of your GPS-location, we may calculate an approximate geographic location based on the IP address you use.
Location information may also be used to enable us to provide you with content and marketing that is relevant to you based on your geographic location. The information may be used to develop new products and services to provide you with customized content, such as advertising relevant to you.
If you no longer want the app to be able to collect detailed information about your geographic location, you can disable location services on your phone or device. In such cases, we will only calculate an approximate geographic location based on your IP address. Please be aware that you will not be able to enjoy the full functionalities of our services if you disable sharing of your GPS-location.
Cookies and other technologies that store data locally on your device
When you use the app where services are provided, we – either directly or through third parties – use various technologies to recognize and learn about you as a user. For example, local storage is used so that you do not need to login each time you visit a service.
Why we process and share your information
We process and share your personal data with companies within Schibsted Media Group for the purposes of (i) providing you with the services and enhancing the user experience (ii) answering customer service matters and correcting mistakes; (iii) providing you, as a user of products and services, with advertisements, offers, and recommendations that are personalized and adapted based on data we have about you; (iv) analyzing market trends and future demands; (v) further developing the service and other services provided by companies within the Schibsted Media Group (among other things, by adapting such services to what we believe to be the users’ wishes); and (vi) preventing, limiting, and investigating abuse of the account and the GoodOnes app.

To provide you with the services and enhancing the user experience
We use personal data to provide you with more user-friendly services, to let you find and communicate with other users. Personal data is also processed with the aim of being able to adapt the viewing of our services to the device you use and provide you with an enhanced user experience.
To personalize offerings, recommendations, and advertisements
We want to provide you with recommendations, customized services, and relevant advertising based on your interests and use of the services. This may include recommendations regarding other products and services based on what you have read or bought or based on the interests of other users with similar behavior patterns. This information also enables us to provide digital advertising campaigns customized to each individual user so that you can receive relevant advertising based on your behavior pattern, age, and other data we have about you. We will not use any of your sensitive personal data provided to us for marketing and advertisement purposes.
To analyze market trends and further develop the services
We use personal data to do user modeling, analysis and understand market trends, and thereby improve and develop our websites, apps and services.
To prevent, limit, and investigate abuse
We receive each user’s personal identity number through BankID. GoodOnes stores the personal identity number for the purposes of verifying the user’s gender and age, so that all users may feel confident that other users are who they claim to be. In addition the personal identification number is processed to ensure that users banned from GoodOnes due to any abuse of the services, are not able to create a new account.
If we identify abuse of the account or the services, and to prevent further abuse, we may disclose information regarding your device or IP address through the use of an identification service.
Exchange of data
In some cases we share data with our partners in order to let them personalize offerings and advertisements. We enter into agreements to ensure that our partners process data in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection legislation.
Personal Data collected may be transferred to a third party in the event that the business of this site or a part of it and the customer data connected with it is sold, assigned or transferred. Also, personal data may be disclosed to a third party if we are required to do so because of an applicable law, court order or governmental regulation, or if such disclosure is otherwise necessary in support of any criminal or other legal investigation or proceeding here or abroad. If there is suspicion that you have committed a criminal offense in connection with the use of your account or of the services, we may disclose information to public authorities upon demand.
Transfer of information to a non-EU/EEA country
We may transfer your personal data, including your sensitive personal data, to recipients in a country outside of the EU/EEA. I we transfer you data, we enter into agreements and take other measures to secure your data in accordance with applicable law requirements.
Retention and deletion of information
Rectify, block, or delete your information
You may request a register extract containing information regarding the personal data we are processing about you in accordance with applicable law. You are entitled also to receive this information free of charge in accordance with applicable law requirements.
You may further, at any time, request that we rectify, block, or delete personal data.
Closing your account
You can terminate your account by choosing to delete the account in the app. After deletion of your account, we generally delete and anonymize your personal data from our systems. However, there is one exception: in the case of suspected abuse of the account, we retain account information so that we can investigate and prevent further fraud or abuse.
We maintain routines and measures to ensure that no unauthorized persons gain access to your personal data and that all processing of personal data takes place in accordance with applicable law. These measures include risk assessments, implementation of organizational and physical measures, as well as routines for handling of data and follow up requests regarding access to, rectification, block and deletion of personal data./p>
