GoodOnes values your privacy and we are therefore concerned with safeguarding your personal data. We work with technological and organizational security measures to keep your data confidential and ensure that your privacy is not violated. GoodOnes will always process your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws. This privacy policy explains how and why we collect and use information about our users and how we manage privacy protection.

Key concepts

What information we collect

We collect personal data related to your registration of an account and your subsequent use of the services. To give you an overview of how the processing of data is carried out, we have divided the personal data into two categories based on how it is collected.

Data that you give us

When you log in to the Service, create an account, use your account, and otherwise carry out activities within the service; you actively provide information about yourself. This information includes name, age, gender, location, email address, photo, likes, profession, height, number of children, if you want to have children, if you exercise, tobacco use, interests, personal presentation, what you are looking for, when you are using the Service and communication with other accounts on the Service e.g. liking someone, writing and reading messages. Some of the information you provide to us will be sensitive personal data, e.g. information revealing sexual orientation. By providing such information and accepting this privacy policy, you consent to the processing of such information by us and our data processors outside the EU/EEA.

We use BankID to verify your identity, name, gender and age, and receive your personal identification number through BankID. The personal identification number is pseudonymized and stored by GoodOnes to ensure a safe and secure service.

When you create an account with Facebook, we collect data from your Facebook profile. The following data will be collected from Facebook and stored in your user profile at GoodOnes: facebook id, name, first name, last name, gender, birthdate, facebook picture and your last 100 likes. Keep in mind that your Likes may contain sensitive information such as religion and political affiliation.

If you choose not to let us process this information, we will not be able to provide you with the Service.

Answering Customer Service matters and correcting mistakes

We process your personal data in order to be able to answer any questions you send to us via e-mail or telephone concerning the Service.

Personalized offers, recommendations and ads

We want to be able to provide you with recommendations, customized services and relevant advertisements based on your interests and your behavior when you use the Service. It can be recommendations about products and services based on what you have read or bought or what other users with similar behavior patterns have shown interest in. The information also allows us to deliver digital advertising campaigns that are tailored to each individual user so that you can receive relevant ads based on your behavioral pattern, age and other information we have about you. We will not use any of the sensitive personal information you have provided to us for marketing and advertising purposes.

To prevent, limit, and investigate abuse

We process personal data concerning the users’ activities and technical data in order to prevent, limit and investigate various forms of misuse of the Service. By abuse we mean, among other things, the creation of false profiles, ”spamming”, harassment, attempts to log in to someone else’s account, acting in violation of the Terms of Use or other terms of the Service and other actions that are prohibited by law.

We receive each user’s social security number through a BankID. The social security number is pseudonymized and stored by GoodOnes and is used to verify name, age and gender, so that other users can be sure that each person is who they claim to be. We also use the pseudonymized social security number to ensure that people we have blocked due to misuse of the service cannot create a new account with us.

If we discover misuse of the Service, and to prevent further misuse, we may disclose information about your device or IP address by using an identification service to prevent further misuse of that device.

This treatment is necessary for our legitimate interest in preventing, limiting and investigating abuse. The treatment is based on a balance of interests and involves situations where we want, or need to do something, which is mainly to our advantage, provided that it does not harm your own interests or fundamental rights and freedoms. You can object to this treatment at any time, but for this purpose we can demonstrate compelling legitimate interests that outweigh your objection.

To fulfill legal obligations incumbent on us

We process your personal data in order to fulfill the legal obligations incumbent on us, e.g. if a competent authority needs certain information or to fulfill the obligations of the Accounting Act.

This treatment is necessary to fulfill these obligations.

Exchange of data

In some cases we share data with our partners in order to let them personalize offerings and advertisements. We enter into agreements to ensure that our partners process data in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection legislation.

Personal Data collected may be transferred to a third party in the event that the business of this site or a part of it and the customer data connected with it is sold, assigned or transferred. Also, personal data may be disclosed to a third party if we are required to do so because of an applicable law, court order or governmental regulation, or if such disclosure is otherwise necessary in support of any criminal or other legal investigation or proceeding here or abroad. If there is suspicion that you have committed a criminal offense in connection with the use of your account or of the services, we may disclose information to public authorities upon demand.

We will not share, sell, transfer or otherwise disclose personal data other than as set out in this Privacy Policy.

Transfer of information to a non-EU/EEA country

We may transfer your personal data, including your sensitive personal data, to recipients in a country outside of the EU/EEA. If we transfer your data, we enter into agreements and take other measures to secure your data in accordance with applicable law requirements.

Retention and deletion of information

We will process your personal data for as long as is necessary with regard to the purpose of the processing. This means that different data will be saved for different lengths of time. We need to save some information for a longer period of time in order to fulfill our statutory obligations.

What Rights Do You Have And How Do You Use These?

It is your data and you have strong rights; you have the right to access your personal data. You also have the right to have the information we have about you corrected or deleted in accordance with the law. You can also request the treatment to be restricted if, for example, you consider the treatment to be illegal. We would like to remind you that there are some exceptions to the rights we have described here. These exceptions follow from the legislation, and may mean, for example, that access to certain data is not granted due to considerations of the rights and freedom of others, or that certain personal data cannot be deleted because legislation or other considerations impose requirements on storage time.

Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (Sweden)/ Datatilsynet (Norway)is responsible for monitoring the application of personal data legislation. If you as an individual believe that we process personal data incorrectly, you can submit a complaint to Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten / Datatilsynet.

Closing your account

You can terminate your account by deleting it in the app where the Service is provided. After your account has been deleted, we save the data for 2 weeks in order to investigate any reports or abuse. However, there is one exception; if we have reason to suspect fraud or misuse of the Service, we save the information for 12 months so that we can investigate and prevent repeated violations or crimes

Security

We have routines and measures to ensure that no unauthorized person has access to your personal data and to ensure that all processing of data takes place in line with current legislation. The measures include risk assessments, organizational and physical measures as well as routines for handling personal data and following up questions regarding availability, correction, blocking and deletion of personal data.
